Vacca, Inc. Solves Long Standing Flammable Gas Release Problem of Military Ration Heaters

CINCINNATI, OHIO, April 26, 2004 – Vacca Incorporated, an alternative energy focused company that develops scalable membrane catalytic heat generating systems, today announced the appointment of Dr. Lawrence Weber as its President. The company's energy solutions, which are based on proprietary and patent pending technologies, have shown unique simplicity and self-regulating operability without moving parts in heating applications and in heat driven processes also producing electricity and/or chilling.

"We are very pleased with Larry’s decision to join Vacca as we begin to spread our wings in developing the wide spectrum of applications presenting a good fit to us, as well as our prospective partner base worldwide," said Giampaolo Vacca, CEO and founder of Vacca, Inc., "and his experience in opening new markets for technology-rich products and forming international Alliances is spot on what we need to help accelerate our growth."

"I am excited to join Vacca’s leadership team to leverage "green" energy products to greater recognition, and tap the immense diversified market space applicable to Vacca’s products," said Dr. Weber. "There is great synergy among Vacca’s principals and we have a sharply demand-focused set of outstanding technologies. There is a robust public and government invitation now to help those sectors fully benefit from products using clean, renewable fuels."

Dr. Weber joins Vacca after building a technology product consulting practice, and working for clients in the public and private sectors since 1999, introducing and testing new products for Homeland Security. Prior to that, he spent 14 years with Pall Corporation where he initiated two new product lines creating global markets valued at $350 million, and generated opportunities for the company in technology transfer, licensing, and worldwide business development. Weber has a Ph.D. in protein crystallography, and has published thirty papers on diverse scientific and technical marketing related subjects.

"Larry Weber will be a tremendous asset to Vacca," said CEO Giampaolo Vacca. "With his experience in building high-performing teams and his passion for linking technology development to customer drivers, he has all the attributes necessary to help us build an expanding worldwide organization."
